ok....time to get on this

Well, I have been lagging on this blog thing, but on etsy it seems that everyone has one and uses one so I really have to start doing this more often. Lets see I have had 4 sales in the last two days and I am super excited. I love when people find me, like me, and want to use the products I have put all my time and energy into creating. It isn't just time and energy either.....it is reading and researching what is good for the skin and how I can go about making a better long lasting bar....etc. etc. etc. Ok...so anyone listening must go and find out about etsy if you haven't already. It is full of homemade TREASURES. F@#$ Walmart. You can find decently priced homemade and wonderful one of a kind things on Etsy for just as much and maybe a tad more than walmart. Plus, very few others have those things so you won't be walking around with the same thing your neighbor has on. I am in the middle of doing a trade right now on there and I find that it is really cool to be able to trade someone my homemade things for their homemade things and even use it as a Christmas gift since we are so low on money right now.

Ok....now for an MSG update. It is going well. I am still surprised how many people don't read labels and know what the manufacturers are putting in their food. I mean come on people. Do you really trust them that much to just pull it off the shelf and not research it first? I can't blame them I guess since I did it for so many years. NO MORE!!! Those jerks won't get me to eat the MSG that is making our country so fat. Not to mention the poor kids. The moms eat MSG when the baby is in the womb, then feed it to them in the form of formula (because no moms breastfeed anymore....they don't have enough time>>>BARF) and then when they get older it is doritos in the lunch bag and so much more. No wonder these kids are obese by the time they are 12. It is just sad and I will not stand for such crap. I will NOT feed that to my kids. We are vegetarian and try to eat locally as much as we can and organic as much as we can. You need to teach them the building blocks of food when they are young so they can carry it into adulthood. Watch Freddie grow up and be a meat eating dorito muncher! At least I will be able to say that I didn't teach him that!

Ebay seller?

I have been looking to sell wholesale products on Ebay and I am not sure it is a scam or not. I am not going to register for any until I get the WHOLE truth. Most of them run a 100 dollar a month fee, but what if you don't make that much. It seems like a scam to me, but I have some more investigation to do.

On another note....I just tried Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free Brownies....they have no MSG, and I thought they were delicious. I have been trying some delicious gluten free recipes lately and hopefully I will have time to show them to all, but time is of the essence for me these days.

Vegan....kinda....with NO MSG!!!!!!

So our new thing now is NO MSG.....which almost puts us in the Vegan category with the exception of eggs which we get out of our backyard and cheese that I find impossible to give up. You would be surprised at the amount of food I have been eating that has MSG in it. I mean right there on the label Monosodium Glutamate. Ridiculous if you ask me. I feel like this whole food thing has gotten out of hand and people have NO idea what they are eating. Well, I will not be the one in the dark. Y'all can call me crazy, but I refuse to listen to how MSG in small amounts is not toxic, when clearly it is. How much do you think they paid that doctor to say that? Pure anger is pouring out of me. They got me! But, not anymore......I have educated myself and I am very happy I did so. But, if it wasn't for my husband, the coolest guy in the world, I wouldn't be doing this. How many guys are comfortable with a vegetarian diet with NO MSG? I would have to say only about 3%of men would be cool with this. It would hurt their egos too much to admit that they don't eat meat....because REAL men eat meat, right? PFFFFF@! Real men are educated and open minded human beings. Ok....enough for now. I have to take a pic of the bread I am making and put it in here for no one to look at since I am the only one who looks at this damn thing anyway.....but you never know.
